Consultation on ‘New’ Reproductive and Genetic technologies and Women’s Lives

On December 2004, a study was initiated to investigate and examine what impact does ARTs have on the health and lives of women and also develop a critical understanding of ARTs, especially its implications in social, ethical and physiological context. Sama organized a consultation for raising awareness, discuss numerous implications of ARTs, its drawbacks and collectively identify strategies to combat the issues surrounding ARTs. The findings of this study were collectively published in the report "New Reproductive and Genetic Technologies and Women's lives".
